Investing in the very best machinery and tech and the brightest people is only as good as the advanced manufacturing facilities available to support innovation.
At Romar we believe that world-class manufacturing requires world-class facilities.
Romar’s ISO Class 8 clean room is a state-of-the-art, fully operational, reduced bio-burden facility.
Purpose built and continually upgraded to meet the highest accreditation standards, this facility leads the Australian market for the manufacture of regulated parts, assembly and packaging.
The ISO Class 8 clean room adheres to ISO 13485 regulations. This accreditation meets the Australian standards in maintaining low-level environmental pollutants, including pyrogens, microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapours.
The facility houses 12 high-performance injection molding machines that service the most critical manufacturing specifications.
The injection molding capability is fully supported by both manual and automated assembly processes and is monitored to the highest physical and environmental standards.
Our ISO Class 8 clean room includes advanced packaging and packing material selection for the sterilisation process. Our technicians access validated packaging and can custom design and manufacture blister packaging to suit your unique packaging needs.
We assemble your devices into thermoform packs, heat seal and label them in preparation for terminal sterilisation when required.
Romar’s specialised additive manufacturing facility houses one of only a small number of the Lasertec 65 3D printers found anywhere in the world and the only one in Australia. This sophisticated printer, in the hands of world leading technical experts, enables Romar’s engineers to innovate in ways the competition can’t match.
The Lasertec 65 3D printer has extensive additive manufacturing capabilities to deliver metal on and metal off manufacturing across the most complex components. It has the capability to combine metal with other advanced materials, giving our engineers the most flexible solutions possible. And it is fast; it can lay down materials ten times faster than any other 3D printing technology.
With this piece of technology, imagination is the only limitation.
