Expanding our cutting-edge technology
Romar offers niche advanced manufacturing solutions, thanks to a world-class team and singular technology.
We have the only Lasertec 65 3D printer in the Southern Hemisphere, and its hybrid capability offers incredible potential for prototyping and the repair and renewal of existing complex components.
We supplement our Lasertec 65 with first rate facilities, including a Class 8 Clean room, and exceptional equipment, including the Leitz PMM coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for precision accurate physical geometry object measurement.
We’ll soon be adding to our inventory and look forward to updating you on a new and exceptional piece of technology. Stay tuned.
Moving forward collaboratively
We firmly believe that collaboration is crucial for efficient Australian manufacturing, and this year we’ve collaborated with several companies – including Gilmour Space Technologies, Jet Engines Australia and Inventia Life Science – that are making an impact with novel projects.
We’ve also been part of the NOTUS Emergency Invasive Ventilator Program, a Grey Innovation led initiative supported by the Australian Government, Victorian Government and Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre.
It’s a cooperative manufacturing project involving around 30 Australian companies and valued at more than $31 million.
Most recently, we are delighted to announce that we are now an ANSTO industry partner. We’re accessing ANSTO’s cutting-edge technology and resources for a project that has enormous potential across multiple industries.
Beyond 2020
With our capability, technology and collaborations set to expand further, Romar is looking forward to moving into 2021 and continuing to offer innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges.
